What does PvPvE mean in DMZ?
The official overview places hostile forces and rival Operators in the same conflict zone. A deployment can involve enemy factions, covert movement or encounters with other players. The page describes fighting, avoiding, negotiating and disappearing as possible responses.
How the Bounty system is described
The official page connects Operator hunts with rising notoriety and a price on the hunter's head. This establishes a risk-versus-reward system, but not its complete rules. Activation thresholds, duration, map visibility, rewards and reset behavior: TBA.
A decision before the next encounter
These are editorial planning questions, not hidden game rules: Does this encounter advance your objective? Are you carrying something you want to extract? Would disengaging preserve the purpose of this run? The official extraction loop makes recovery and survival competing priorities; it does not provide a universal answer for every squad.
Separate activity categories from bounty rules
High-value target hunts appear in the official activity list. The page does not establish that every high-value target is a player bounty. Do not assume the two categories use identical targets, payouts or triggers.
Where to go next
Read mission types, review the Hajin map briefing, and prepare through the FOB guide. Verified extraction coordinates, when supplied, belong on the map hub.
