MW4 DMZ Sources & Editorial Policy

What the site currently knows

The owner supplied a high-level description of DMZ and intended topics, stored in content/sources/site-owner-brief.md. The original brief alone is not official confirmation. See the official source record in content/sources/official-dmz-2026-10-19.md. An official source review on October 19, 2026 now supports release dates, the Hajin overview, activity categories and FOB services. Individual gameplay collections remain empty pending evidence.

How records are accepted

Entity records require a local source-file reference, an explicit verification flag and a record date. A reviewer checks the exact game and version, field value and unit against that source before marking a record verified. A schema enforces data format and source-file presence; it cannot establish that the source is true.

An older Call of Duty title, search snippet, rumor or another wiki does not automatically establish a fact for MW4. Disputed fields stay unverified until conflicting sources are resolved.

What TBA means

TBA means this site does not have an accepted value. It does not mean zero, unavailable, impossible or confirmed absent. Missing coordinates are not plotted. Empty weapon and key collections are not a statement that the game contains none.

Rankings and recommendations

Tiers need a supplied basis and version context. Recommendations are editorial judgments, not official rankings. We do not infer time-to-kill, drop rates, prices or mission steps to complete a table. Read tier references together with the underlying records.

Dates and updates

“Last verified” comes from each reviewed record. A site build does not refresh that date. Season pages require changelog, new content and known issues sections; unknown sections remain TBA. The site does not promise real-time updates or faster coverage than another resource.

Corrections

A correction needs the affected record, disputed field, source material and relevant game version. The owner reviews those materials before updating the JSON or MDX source. A public submission channel is not configured; this page does not claim to accept submissions.
